  • Delivery - In-Person Delivery of 1 Live, Instructor-Led Session (2hrs). No Online Activities

  • Duration - **Minimum two (2) hours of participant contact time.

EVENT OBJECTIVES

By the end of this event, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the terms Food Safety and GMP.

  • Describe the basic GMP expectations of personnel (F.I.R.S.T.).

  • What is Food Safety? What is GMP?

  • The importance of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to Food Safety.

  • Pillars of a GMP Program:

    • Getting to know your company’s GMP program (customized option).

  • Basic expectations of all employees for GMP using F.I.R.S.T

 

WHY ATTEND?

  • First time learning about GMP? This course is an easy way to learn more about typical food safety risks that may be controlled through a GMP program.

  • Need a refresher? This course provides is an opportunity to be reminded of the importance of GMP to the products your company supplies to the food supply chain.

None. This is an awareness course.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Live, instructor-led, remote session.

  • Feedback on learning progress from the instructor.

 

SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION CRITERIA

  • At least 80% attendance of instructor-led session.

  • Minimum 80% on final quiz. Two (2) attempts allowed (immediately following presentation)

  • Acceptance and compliance with Onazry policies.

 

COMPLETION ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

  • Completion certificate

  • CEU’s Awarded = (To be confirmed)
