EVENT OBJECTIVES

By the end of this event, participants should be able to: 

  1. Identify the terms product safety, product defense, product security and product fraud

  2. Describe in basic terms the 7 Pillars of a Product Defense Program.

  3. Identify 5 steps that facility personnel should follow for Product Defense.

PREREQUISITES

Prior to taking this course participants should have a working knowledge of the facility’s Product Defense Plan &/or HACCP Plan.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Participant material, including videos and documents for download.

  • Links to information from regulatory agencies.

  • Live, instructor-led, remote session.

  • Online exercises, quizzes and final test to check learning progress.

  • Feedback on learning progress from the instructor and via results of quizzes, exercises, and the final test.

  • Support for technical or other questions.

SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION CRITERIA

  • At least 80% attendance of instructor-led session(s).

  • Completion of all mandatory online activities.

  • Minimum 80% on final quiz. Two (2) attempts allowed (while access is available).

  • Acceptance and compliance with Onazry policies.

  • Completion of online activities before access expires.

  • Course access expires 14 calendar days after day 1 of the course.

 

COMPLETION ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

  • Completion certificate

  • CEU’s Awarded = 0.4 (To be confirmed)
